Hello, I am a Texas gal, I have a driving passion for recipes and cooking. I would like to share some of my old and new recipes that I have collected in my recipe box over the years. I started cooking when I was a young girl. I love cookbooks and trying new recipes along with all my old favorites. I want everyone to share your favorite recipes and memories from the past and present.

the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Step 3: Stir in the
cheese and chopped jalapeños, then pour in the beer and stir until

a very lightly floured surface and knead for several turns, then
shape the bread into a nice ball shape. Step 5: Place on a
greased baking sheet and brush the top with the beaten egg. Step
6: Bake at 375 degree for 50 minutes to 1 hour. Check the bread with
a knife or toothpick to see if it is done. If it comes out clean

for several minutes before slicing.
may use any hot pepper of your choice
can also use other cheese, such as cheddar, I used mozzarella because
it is lower in fat.
