Bacon Wrapped Cream Cheese Jalapeño Poppers




These spicy little poppers make a yummy appetizer. Once you have the first one you just can't get enough of them. Make sure you make plenty, according to the number of partakers you will have for these hot poppers. Make sure you use plastic gloves when working with jalapeño peppers.

Ingredients for Bacon Wrapped Cream Cheese Jalapeño Poppers:
25 fresh jalapeño peppers
14 -16 ounces cream cheese
2-16 ounce packages bacon

Directions for making Bacon Wrapped Cream Cheese Jalapeño Poppers:
Step 1: Place plastic gloves on hands.
Step 2: Wash and cut stems off of peppers.
Step 3: Cut the jalapeño peppers in half lengthwise.
Step 4: Remove all of the seeds from peppers.
Step 5: Fill each pepper with cream cheese, don't be stingy.
Step 6: Cut bacon strip into halves, wrap 1/2 slice of bacon around each pepper half.
Step 7: You may secure bacon with toothpicks if you like, I never do.
Step 8: Place on baking sheets and place in 450 degree oven for 10 to 15 minutes or until bacon is fully cooked.
Makes 50 poppers.
