Creamy Potato Soup Recipe

I love soup just about anytime of the year, a favorite of mine is Creamy Potato Soup. It is easy to make and so delicious. Serve with Garlic Bread and sprinkle with cheese, green onions and bacon bits.


4 potatoes, peeled
2 slices bacon, diced
¼ cup onion, minced
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoons parsley, minced
¼ teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
3 cups milk
½ cup grated cheese
Cheese, green onions and bacon bits for sprinkling on top
Salt and pepper to taste


Cook potatoes in large pan until tender in small amount of salted water.
Meanwhile, sauté bacon and onions over low heat until tender.
After potatoes are done, mash potatoes well; add bacon, onion, butter parsley, dry mustard, Worcestershire sauce, milk and cheese.
Heat over low heat, stirring.
Sprinkle with toppings of your choices.
Makes 4 servings.
