Easy Cornbread Dressing Recipe

We find any excuse to make a roasted turkey and cornbread dressing. It does not have to be the holidays for these recipes to show up at our hours. Every day is Thanksgiving to me. Hope you enjoy this treasured recipe.


1 can cream of chicken soup
1 cup celery, chopped
1 cup onions, chopped
¼ pound ground beef or sausage, optional
1 can chicken broth
2 teaspoon sage
2 boiled eggs, chopped
cornbread, cooked, crumbled
white bread crumbs
salt to taste


Fill a 9-inch x 13-inch pan ¾ full of mixed equal amounts of cornbread and white bread.
Stir in soup, celery, onions, meat, broth, sage, salt and eggs until well mixed.
Mixture should be wet, but not soggy.
Add more broth if needed.
Bake at 325 degree until lightly browned on top.
