We eat a lot of stir-fry at our house. My husband actually taught me how to make it. You can add other vegetables to this dish if you like. Enjoy!
1 pound sirloin steak or tenderized round steak
3 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons white wine or apple cider vinegar
¼ black pepper
1 teaspoon sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
2-3 bell peppers, sliced
1 onion, sliced
¾ cup Canola oil
Slice steak into strips.
To make the marinade, mix soy sauce, white wine or apple cider vinegar, black pepper, sugar, and cornstarch.
Stir beef strips into the marinade for 30 minutes or overnight.
Stir-fry peppers and onions in the ¼ cup of oil in large skillet or wok.
Remove the peppers and onions.
In same skillet heat ½ cup oil and stir-fry meat until browned.
Return peppers and onions to wok or skillet; heat altogether.
Serve with fried rice.
