Green Chile Queso Dip

Everyone loves a cheese dip, this one is made a
little different, it comes from my niece. It has only three ingredients! I am sure you could do this in the crockpot also! It is really yummy served with Frito Scoops or your favorite chips or crackers. Great to serve when friends come over or just for the family.

Items you need to make Green Chile Queso Dip:

10 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, cut into cubes
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 small can (4-ounces) chopped green chilies

Directions for making:

Heat green chilies, cream of mushroom soup and cheese on the stovetop or in the microwave.

Big Red Punch

Big Red Punch will be a hit with the kids and adults alike. It is a great punch to serve at any occasion! You may increase the recipe for the amount you need for your party. Enjoy!

You will need:

2 6-ounce cans lemonade concentrate
6 6-ounce cans water
2 cups pineapple juice
1 32-ounce bottle Big Red soda
1 10-ounce package frozen strawberries, thawed, sliced
Ice

Mix lemonade concentrate, water, pineapple juice, big red and strawberries in a large container.
Place in refrigerator to chill.
Serve Big Red Punch over ice in a large punch bowl.

Sausage Balls Appetizers


Sausage Balls are a delicious appetizer that is popular at parties or snacking on before a meal. I have included a Mustard-Mayo Dipping Sauce and a Curried Mayonnaise Dipping Sauce that is yummy for dipping. These tasty dipping sauces are also great with chicken wings, chicken strips or other appetizers.


Ingredients needed for Sausage Balls:

1 pound bulk ground sausage, mild or hot
1/4 cup finely chopped celery
1/4 cup finely chopped green onion
3 cups biscuit mix
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 tablespoon melted butter
Directions for making Sausage Balls:

Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degree Fahrenheit.
Step 2: Grease or spray a baking sheet.
Step 3: In a large skillet, brown the sausage with celery and onion; drain well.
Step 4: Combine sausage mixture with the baking mix, egg, cheese, and butter.
Step 5: Mix well; form into balls about 1 inch in size.
Step 6: Bake in a preheated 350 degree Fahrenheit oven on lightly greased or sprayed baking sheets for 20 to 25 minutes, until lightly browned.


This recipe makes about 36 1-inch appetizers.
Mustard-Mayo Dipping Sauce
Ingredients needed for Mustard-Mayo Dipping Sauce:

1 cup mayonnaise
2 to 3 teaspoons prepared yellow mustard
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/4 teaspoon dill weed
Directions for making Mustard-Mayo Dipping Sauce:
Step 1: Combine mayonnaise, yellow mustard, Dijon mustard and dill weed; mix well.
Step 2: Chill to blend flavors.
Serve with sausage balls or similar appetizer.
Makes about 1 cup of dip.
Curried Mayonnaise Dipping Sauce
Ingredients needed for Curried Mayonnaise Dipping Sauce:
 
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup pineapple or apricot preserves
1/2 teaspoon curry powder, or to taste
Directions for making Curried Mayonnaise Dipping Sauce:
Step 1: Combine mayonnaise, pineapple or apricot preserves and curry powder; mix well.
Step 2: Chill to blend flavors.
Serve with chicken wings or fried chicken strips, sausage balls, or other appetizer.
Makes about 1 cup.
Tip:

Add a little less fruit preserves or a little more mayonnaise if the dip is too sweet for your taste.
